Face reading

Understand how other people think, and why they behave the way they do, without taking it personally. Communicate better

For centuries, the Chinese have believed your facial features can reveal hidden truths about your personality. It may sound unbelievable, but a recent study published in the Royal Society of Biological Sciences journal found men with a certain face shape were more likely to be deceptive.

Chinese face reading is an ancient branch of Chinese medicine, which teaches that you are born with a personal blueprint that is yours and yours alone, and that this inner architecture can be read in your outer design - the features of your face

So could there be more to it than ancient myth? Chinese philosophy dictates there are 5 elements which influence our lives: wood, water, fire, earth and metal. Each of us has a mixture of these elements in our faces, with one of them dominating.

Every feature of one’s face has positive and negative interpretations & connotations . Chinese face reading goes beyond personality traits & character, it focuses  on destiny and fortune as well. The face is a map of a person’s fortune and luck.

Face reading is an ancient technique used by the Chinese to determine a person’s character, emotions, as well as career path . It was first used in TCM ( traditional Chinese medicine ) for medical diagnosis.

What do we read on the face ?

  • bones structure
  • Complexion , skin
  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Mouth
  • Forehead
  • Ears
  • Jaw bones

Did you know that our emotions affect our face ?

-When we are feeing down, our lower face takes this direction ( down ) too.

- When we are happy our face appears as  a lift , the Qi/ energy goes up  .

Studying faces, characters & behaviors is also part of the social psychology field .

Social psychologists examine factors that cause behaviors to unfold in a given way in the presence of others. They study conditions under which certain behavior, actions, and feelings occur. Social psychology is concerned with the way these feelings, thoughts, beliefs, intentions, and goals are cognitively constructed and how these mental representations, in turn, influence our interactions with others.

Social psychology traditionally bridged the gap between psychology and sociology.

Many companies use personality profiling systems such as DISCMyers-Briggs  to help assess job applicants.

Many HR professionals & Business Coaches are also trained in NLP and body-reading techniques. While these methods undoubtedly provide much useful information, it is possible to study ways to provide ‘appropriate’ answers, both verbal and non-verbal with Face reading.

Micro expressions matter

Micro expressions are revealed to us all the time, yet we continue to miss them. Learn how these clues are the key to smarter and more meaningful interactions.

 What are micro expressions?

Micro expressions are facial expressions that occur within seconds. They are involuntary and expose a person’s true emotions. They can happen as a result of conscious suppression or unconscious repression. These facial expressions are universal, meaning they occur on everyone around the world.

Why are micro expressions important?
Everyone flashes micro expressions and no one can hide them. Reading micro expressions is the key to enhanced emotional awareness and deception detection. Learning to spot micro expressions gives you an edge in any social situation.
